Dr. Jennifer Chevalier worked in public education for 15 years, serving as a classroom teacher, K-12 Instructional Coach, Talent Developer, and Research and Grants Development Manager in southeast Florida.
In her current role as the Director of Grants for FranklinCovey Education, she established the Grants Department to help clients secure funding for Leader in Me. Jennifer works to develop grant proposals to support the expansion of rigorous research validating the impact of Leader in Me on students, educators, schools, and districts. As the Associate Director of Research, she continues her efforts to increase the research base around Leader in Me, writing blogs and publications, while also co-hosting the Research Conversations podcast and speaking at national webinars and research-related conferences and events.
Dr. Chevalier has facilitated adult learning at both state and national conferences. She served on the Board of the state education professional learning organization, Learning Forward – Florida, and has been contracted as a grant reviewer with New York State and the U.S. Department of Education. Serving her local community, Jennifer works with a local nonprofit organization to secure grant funding to expand its services to at-risk youth.
Dr. Chevalier has been married to her husband, Kirk, for over 25 years and their son, Conner, is an entrepreneur with an M.S. in Human Performance.
